EAGLE SCOUTS
Out of the more than 115 million Scouts who have passed through the
Boy Scouts of America in the last 102 years, approximately two million have
become Eagle Scouts. The Eagle Scout rank represents the highest level of
achievement within theScouts BSA program. Earning the Eagle Scout rank is
not just about acquiring merit badges or learning outdoor skills; it is about
character development, leadership, and making a positive impact on society.

SCOUTMASTERS
Reverend George N. Murphy, pastor of St. Stephens R.C.C., was responsible
for the organization of Troop No. 5 which secured its charter in September,
1933. The charter number was changedin May of 1996 by Al Hacker,
committee chair.
