History of 305

Est. 1933

Troop/Pack 305 was organized in 1933 and continues to provide youth leadership training to boys and young men in Kearny, Harrison, East Newark, and surrounding towns as Unit 305. Children have so much to offer to the world - we believe in the power that they hold, and know that they will mold future generations to come. At Unit 305, we are here to give the youth the support they need in order to shape them into leaders of the future. We have a number of leadership initiatives that help nurture our youth and help them develop the skills they will carry throughout their lives.

305 History

Unit 305, BSA

Troop and Pack 305 is Chartered by St. Stephens. Boys from the ages of 5-16 make up our unit with a host of adult volunteers. Trained leaders guide and educate the scouts according to the scout oath and law.

Pack 305

Cub Scouts are in a pack, divided into dens by grade. Dedicated leaders and volunteers are tasked with teaching Cub Scouts both fun and valuable lessons that will help them progress in the program and in life. The entire family is involved in each child’s development.
